Report on GTTP Session in California, USA.
One of the first US Galileo Teacher Training Program (GTTP) sessions for teachers was held in San Francisco on September. The workshop took place in the wake of the Astronomical Society of the Pacify (ASP) meeting on Science Education and Outreach.
The GTTP 1 1/2 day workshop was attended mostly by teachers but also by other astro ed professionals.

July 22nd Total Solar Eclipse in Asia
On July 22nd there will be a Total Solar Eclipse visible in some parts of Asia. It begins in India and crosses through Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China. After leaving mainland Asia, the path crosses Japan’s Ryukyu Islands and curves southeast through the Pacific Ocean.

GTTP @ ESA
The first joint GTTP / European Space Agency session will take place in Amsterdan from June 29 to July 1st. Science Teachers of Secondary schools in Europe have been invited to attend the training session that will take place at the NEMO Science Centre in the Netherlands.
