IAU Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD) launched it’s “Call for Proposals” for projects to be implemented in the 2014 calender year. The IAU has earmarked a minimum of €90 000 to support projects and activities related to all three Task Forces: Universities and Research, Children and Schools and Public Outreach. Projects which are not funded directly by the IAU but which are still ranked highly by the task forces go onto a “wish list” for which the OAD continues to search for funds throughout the year.
Chair of GTTP, Rosa Doran is a member of the OAD Task Force – Children and Schools – and invite all the GTTP collaborators to take this opportunity to make their project ideas a reality.
Submit your ideas for funding at: http://www.astro4dev.org/aboutiauoad/cfp/ Deadline: 23:59 UTC on August 31st, 2013.
