HOU Kenya recently received a digital mobile planetarium from Perot Museum in Texas through Kyle Doane and planning to use it in local schools. Their first activity was held at Kilimani Junior Academy in Karen. Read more at: www.africahoukenya.blogspot.com
During the Solar Eclipse in 3 November, HOU Kenya will be organising an outreach session at Galleria Mall in Karen with display of astronomy posters, screening videos and mobile planetarium shows. The event will be publicise through Radio Africa. HOU Kenya will also distribute safe solar viewing glasses at the venue.
An astronomy themed Halloween costume party will be hosted at Carnivore Restaurant to promote the Solar Eclipse of 3 November 2013.
