A two-day GTTP 2013 workshop in Pokhara, Nepal concluded successfully. The workshop was held for two days in February from 8 to 9 and was organised by Global Hands on Universe (GHOU) Nepal chapter and Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO) with the support of International Astronomical Union – Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD).

The workshop received a total of forty three teachers and science communicators from different parts of Nepal and it was held at SOS Hermann Gminer Higher Secondary School Gandaki, Pokhara, Nepal. Participants were able to get hands-on experience with night sky observation session and learn various topics and astronomy and space science by well known amateur and professionals in relevant fields. Workshop organisers encouraged participants to improve their networking abilities locally with fellow teachers and science communicators in order to maximize the efforts.
