The IAU Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD) invites proposals for projects that use Astronomy as a tool to address an issue related to sustainable development. It is open to anyone from anywhere in the world. The selection process will take into account the qualifications and experiences of the individuals in the team. Although the working language of the OAD is English, the office will work through the regional offices, language centres and volunteers, to assist anyone who wishes to communicate in another language.
