Space Awareness project partners, University of Leiden, Ellinogermaniki Agogi, European Schoolnet and Núcleo Interactivo de Astronomia have prepared a unique course to empower teachers and educators to introduce space-related topics in the classroom. This MOOC is the first from a series of four MOOCs, and it provides rich content on how to successfully teach space-related topics based on:
- The Inquiry-Based Science Education teaching approach
- The effective use of ICT tools
- Managing diversity and obtaining a gender balance in the classroom
- Introducing and attracting young people to careers in space
You can enroll now and start with Module 1 which is already available. One new module will open every week on Monday. It is estimated that about 3 hours per week are required to complete all the work included in each module.
