During August 2015, scientists and teachers from many corners of the world met at the GHOU 2015 conference to share developments and great ideas to engage the public and in particular students in topics related to science, in particular Astronomy. New tools and ideas were presented and old best practices revived. A group of 30 Hawaiian teachers participated in the GTTP International training and had the opportunity to learn about the projects like: International Astronomical Search Collaboration, Go-lab, Dark Skies Awareness, SDSS Voyages, Cosmic Light EDU, among others.
