Much of the evolution of the universe can be described through the pull of gravity and push of pressure. Gravity condenses gas, it heats up, and if it can, it expands, and if it can’t, stars are formed. In this Hangout, we will consider the gas laws, and look at different kinds of nebulae. Inspiring Science Education hangout on 8 April 2015 discussed ‘Gas Laws with Stars and Nebulae’. If you missed the live hangout, enjoy the video of the recording and stay tuned to the future hangouts.
This is series Hangouts on Astronomy and Planetary Science supported by Ellinogermaniki Agogi and NUCLIO in the framework of the European Science Education Academy and the Galileo Teacher Training Programme. Hangouts are hosted by Dr Pamela L. Gay. GTTP invite you to work along with the series to create classroom educational materials while earning badges as you progress.
