Mark your calendar on 23 September 2016 for a LIVE online event with retired NASA astronaut Nicole Stott at 16:00 UTC. She served as a flight engineer on ISS Expedition 20 and Expedition 21 and was a Mission Specialist on STS-128 and STS-133. After 27 years of working at NASA, the space agency announced her retirement effective June 1, 2015.

Nicole created the first painting in space, inspired by the beauty of our planet during 104 days on two space missions. Nicole became a full-time artist after retiring from NASA after 28 years as an engineer, aquanaut, and astronaut. She now shares the awe of her spaceflight experience through her eARTh from Space (c), and advocates for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

The event is organised by Astronomers Without Borders and will be broadcasted on Youtube LIVE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBz5rr3e9Kw
