The second edition of Festival of Astronomy in Ifrane will feature a GTTP workshop among other activities planned from 29 August to 1 September 2013. This is the second GTTP session to be held in Morocco after the first workshop held in 2012 during the Global Hands-On Universe conference.
The workshop will cover educational techniques in astronomy, basic topics and hands-on activities. Educators Mr. and Mrs. Faye, Prof. Kadiri and Dr. Talibi will be some of the lecturers of the workshop.
Ifrane-GTTP 2013 is organized by the astronomy club at Al Akhawayn University in partnership with the network of amateur astronomers Moroccan (RAAM), the Astronomy Association of Casablanca (ACA) and the CITI association for the promotion of technology news in science education.
